The residential building at Kirchenpauerstraße 14 , the former school for electrical engineering in Cuxhaven , Kirchenpauerstraße 14 at Rathausplatz, is a Lower Saxony monument and is included in the list of architectural monuments in Cuxhaven .

history

The three-storey white building from 1906 in the Wilhelminian style with a roof house was built as a school for electrical engineering for the Imperial Marine Artillery Depot at the Cuxhaven naval base . The lecture hall and practice rooms were located on the ground floor. In the basement there was an engine room and an accumulator room . There were apartments on the upper floors. A telegraph symbol can still be seen on the gable of the house.
The building is now used as a residential building.
