The Museum Bärengasse is a museum in Zurich (Quartier City ). The museum consists of the four-story buildings, Zum Schanzenhof and Zur Weltkugel, built in the 17th century. The two houses were originally 65 meters to the east on the other side of Talstrasse, where a large development was built in the early 1970s.

From 1976 to 2008 it was part of the Swiss National Museum with a permanent exhibition on home decor and special exhibitions. During the renovation of the town hall , it has since been used for exhibitions by the city of Zurich. In 2011 and 2012, the Kunsthalle Zürich used the premises as its exhibition rooms in the Löwenbräu area were renovated by spring 2012. In 2013, the municipal museum will be used by various curators for several exhibitions of contemporary art. After that, the private Money Museum will move into the Bärengasse Museum, which is not far from Paradeplatz . The MoneyWorld exhibition will playfully bring the subject of money and finance closer.
