Wayne Boyd
Wayne Boyd (born October 25, 1990 ) is a British automobile racing driver .
Career
Boyd began his motorsport career in karting . In 2007 he switched to the single-seater racing and immediately won the championship of the Northern Irish Formula Ford . In 2008 he started in the British Formula Ford and showed a dominant performance with 13 victories from 25 races, with which he won the championship title. He also took part in two races in the British Formula Renault , which he finished in eleventh place overall. In 2009 Boyd switched to T-Sport in the British Formula 3 Championship . While his teammate Adriano Buzaid achieved sixth place overall, he finished 12th in the championship with a win. In 2010 Boyd was not given a cockpit for a full season in a championship. He finally started at a racing weekend in the 2010 British Formula 3 season and the Formula 3 Masters . On both weekends he received a cockpit at Sino Vision Racing .
In 2011 Boyd moved to the North American US F2000 National Championship for Belardi Auto Racing . He won two races and was third in the championship. In addition, he competed in Formula Ford individual races. In 2012 he took part in four races of the US F2000 National Championship for Belardi Auto Racing as an unregistered driver and was therefore unable to score any points. He achieved two podium placements.
In 2013, Boyd only competed in Formula Ford individual events.
