Wolf Heinrich von Gemmel
Wolf Heinrich Freiherr von Gemmel was court chamber councilor and member of the Bavarian state estates in 1705 .
The Imperial Administration in Bavaria commissioned Baron von Gemmel in November 1705 to influence the rebels in Burghausen and Braunau am Inn. Georg Sebastian Plinganser made it clear that he did not want to hear about a comparison.
From December 10th to December 12th, 1705, Baron von Gemmel negotiated the Armistice of Anzing in the Högerschlösschen in Anzing, together with Hofrat Vice-President and Landsturer of the Landscape Georg Anton Freiherr von Hegnenberg, Johann Rudolf Freiherr von Wämpel and Mayor Ossinger from Munich .
Christian Probst reports that Freiherr von Gemmel took the suffering that had been inflicted on the population at Aidenbach as an opportunity to start again with his mediation efforts. On January 11, 1706, he wrote to the Burghausen Rent Office and the town of Schärding , warning the insurgents to lay down their arms immediately and offering to mediate with Emperor Joseph I.
