Wolf Schubert

Friedmar Edgar Horst Schubert , called Wolf Schubert , (born January 28, 1903 in Zennewitz , † December 4, 1977 in Halle an der Saale ) was a German art historian and monument conservator .

Life

From 1922 he studied in Leipzig. From 1945 he was state curator in Saxony-Anhalt, in September 1959 he was relieved of this position. From 1961 he was head of work on the "Monuments of special national importance and international artistic value in the GDR".
