Wolfgang Beekmann
Wolfgang Beekmann (born October 22, 1937 in Berlin ) is a German mathematician .
Life
After receiving his doctorate in 1967 at the University of Tübingen and his habilitation in 1971, he became a professor at the University of Hagen in 1977 . He has been retired since 2003 .
His main research areas within analysis are limitation theory and functional analytical aspects, in particular: structure of the fields of action of limitation methods, λ-convergence and the fields of action defined by this, fine structure of the spectrum of convergence-true limitation matrices.
