Wolfgang Hilleke

Wolfgang Hilleke (born March 4, 1963 in Attendorn ) was elected as a non-party candidate for mayor of the city of Attendorn in the municipal elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2009 . He took office on October 21, 2009.

The graduate in administrative management (FH) is active in various associations in his hometown.

As a personal goal of his mayoral activity, Hilleke formulated an economically strong location with a liveable city and a modern administration at the same time. When he was elected in 2009, the Sauerland native received 67.73% of the vote. Wolfgang Hilleke was voted out of office in the local elections in May 2014. He only achieved 42.10% compared to his opponent Christian Pospischil .

From January 2015 to March 2016, Hilleke was the managing director of the Land Fleesensee holiday complex in Göhren-Lebbin.
