Count Wolfgang I von Montfort-Rothenfels (* around 1489 ; † March 21, 1541 ) was Count von Montfort in Tettnang and Rothenfels, as well as a councilor and governor of Upper Austria.

family

Wolfgang I. von Montfort-Rothenfels was a son of Hugo von Montfort, Count of Montfort-Rothenfels-Wasserburg (* around 1475) and his wife Anna Sibylla von Zweibrücken-Lichtenberg. He married Eleonore von Wolkenstein. His siblings were:
