Wolfgang Klapf (born December 14, 1978 in Leoben , Austria ) is an Austrian football player . He has been under contract with Union Weißkirchen since summer 2014.

career

Klapf began his career at SV Gams in Styria before moving to SV Rottenmann.

Klapf received his first contract with DSV Leoben . With Leoben he was runner-up in the second-rate first division .

Then Klapf moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga LASK , where he made his debut in the Bundesliga one season later. Klapf played against SK Austria Kärnten in a 1-0 win on matchday 1 and got a yellow card.

In the summer of 2008, Wolfgang Klapf accepted an offer from the newly founded SC Magna Wiener Neustadt , where he was able to secure a regular place in the team right from the start.

On July 17th, 2012, the relegated LASK announced the re-engagement of Wolfgang Klapf for the new regional league season.

For the 2014/15 season he moved to Union Weißkirchen in the Upper Austrian League .
