Shredder - the satirical weekly review was the name of a radio broadcast by the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR). The first episode aired in October 1983. The shredder was a long time a regular slot on NDR 2 (Sundays at 14:15); later the programs ran on NDR 3 or its successor Radio 3 (12:05 p.m.). In the last few years the shredder alternated with slow motion , also a satirical magazine. The series was temporarily taken out of the program by NDR - the last episode ran on December 21, 2003.

The shredder dealt with current political and social events using glosses, short scenes and cabaret dialogues. The editor in charge was Wolfgang Knauer (1942–2018). A regular contribution until his death in 1997 was Hermann Hoffmann's Polit-KlimBim from the station Lemon , in which Hoffmann had satirical and humorous conversations with these people using original sounds from politicians.
