Wolfgang Münzberg

Wolfgang Münzberg (born November 21, 1928 in Bad Homburg in front of the height ) is a German legal scholar and former professor at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Oberursel in 1948 , Münzberg studied law at the University of Frankfurt am Main . There he passed his first state examination in law in 1953, followed by the second in 1958. A year later Münzberg doctorate in Frankfurt at Gerhard Schiedermair Dr. iur., as his assistant he subsequently worked. In 1965, Münzberg completed his habilitation, also under the supervision of Schiedermair, and received the venia legendi for the subjects of civil law and civil procedural law. In the same year he took up a full professorship at the University of Kiel . In 1970 he moved to the University of Tübingen , where he held the chair for civil law, procedural law and enforcement law until his retirement in 1994.

Münzberg also gained greater prominence in specialist circles through his commentary on the foreclosure law in Stein / Jonas , a major commentary on the ZPO .
