Wolfgang Nussbaumer

Wolfgang Nussbaumer (born October 3, 1937 in Dornbirn ) is a former Austrian entrepreneur and politician ( FPÖ ). Nussbaumer was a member of the National Council between 1994 and 1999 and a member of the European Parliament from 1995 to 1996 .

education and profession

After elementary school, Nussbaumer attended a secondary school and then the higher technical training and research institute for mechanical engineering, automobile and engine construction. He also completed a post-graduate management course at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Nussbaumer has been a member of Alemannia Dornbirn ( Österreichischer Pennäler Ring ) since December 1953 and a member of the Corps Alemannia Vienna zu Linz since October 1959 .

Nussbaumer initially worked as a clerk in air conditioning companies from 1959 and then from 1962 as a department manager at König KG Pistons and Piston Rings. In 1967 he joined the Kästle ski factory and was appointed managing director and member of the board in 1972. He was then a member of the supervisory board from 1993 and also a consultant at Benetton Sportsystem. He had his own business development office from 1993 and was appointed to the commercial council in 1992.

politics

In 1994, Jörg Haider won Nussbaumer as industrial spokesman for the FPÖ and represented the FPÖ in parliament from November 7, 1994 to January 15, 1996. In addition, after Austria's accession to the EU , Nussbaumer was appointed a member of the FPÖ and was a member of the European Parliament from the date of Austria's accession on January 1, 1995 to November 11, 1996. In addition, Nussbaumer was again a member of the National Council from October 30, 1996 to October 28, 1999.
