Wolfgang Schoepping

Wolfgang Schöpping (* 1926 ; † December 2, 1983 in Spielberg (Brachttal) ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and theologian .

Among other things, he was pastor of Sankt Bonifatius in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen from 1969 to 1976 , and later a senior teacher at church schools (OStR.iK). He was one of the spokesmen for ARD - Das Wort zum Sonntag .

In 1964 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Tisserant and invested in Cologne Cathedral on December 5, 1964 by Lorenz Jaeger , Grand Prior of the Order.

Wolfgang Schöpping has published numerous writings.
