Wolfgang Scholer
Wolfgang Scholer (born January 27, 1959 ) is a German table tennis player .
Via TTF Saarhölzbach, SV 08 Bous and 1. FC Saarbrücken , Scholer came to ATSV Saarbrücken in 1979 , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 1980 and advanced to the final of the European Exhibition Cup in 1981 . In the same year he became Saarland Champion in men's singles. 1983 to 1985 he was German team champion with the ATSV.
In 2013 he is still with the ATSV; As head of the table tennis department, he plays as a team leader in the second team. Today, Wolfgang Scholer is full-time director of studies for the subjects English and sport and headmaster of the all-day school Bellevue in Saarbrücken.
