Wolfgang von Keitz

Wolfgang von Keitz is a German information scientist . From 1988 to 2012 he was professor for information management in the information systems and media management courses at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) .

Life

Studied business administration, computer science and communication science at the Universities of Stuttgart, TU Berlin and Saarbrücken. From the University of Saarland , he was in 1980 for Dr. rer. oec. PhD. Various study visits to universities in the USA and Japan, as well as the international organizations of the United Nations.

At the Hochschule der Medien , von Keitz was one of the initiators of the university radio station and the webcasting seminar for HDTV. He was the supervisor of the HdM “stufe” student television and was involved in the HD Campus TV Initiative, which is funded by the MFG Filmförderung and the Landesanstalt für Kommunikation (LFK). In 2008 he was involved in the conception and implementation of the Convergent Media Center (CMC) at HdM.

Wolfgang von Keitz is deputy chairman of the board at the Willy-Brandt-Forum Unkel am Rhein - Museum of Contemporary History .
