Freedom and the rule of law ( Polish Wolność i Praworządność ; short WiP) was a conservative - libertarian party in Poland . Its namesake and chairman was Janusz Korwin-Mikke , the former chairman of the Unia Polityki Realnej party (UPR for short). A large number of the candidates for the 2005 parliamentary elections were also from the UPR, although some belonged to another party or no party at all.
On March 24, 2011, the WiP disbanded for lack of electoral success and merged with the UPR the following day to form Unia Polityki Realnej - Wolność i Praworządność . On May 12, 2011 the party was renamed Kongres Nowej Prawicy (KNP for short).
