The Wolzensee is an inland lake in the state of Brandenburg , Havelland district .
The lake is - in a west-east direction - about 2200 meters long and a maximum of 330 meters wide. It belongs to the district of Rathenow and is located a few hundred meters south-east of the urban development. In the 1990s the only building on the bank, the excursion restaurant "Haus am See" and the associated "Concert Shell" were demolished. In 2008 a new restaurant in the style of a Canadian log cabin was opened on the north bank of the lake, where the bathing area is also located .
The Wolzensee drains into the Havel via the Körgraben .
Different types of fish live in Wolzensee ( carp , bream , tench , pike , perch , eel and catfish ).
