Womedy

Womedy was a Berlin women's comedy trio ( Wo menCo medy ) that was founded in 1996 and lasted until 2009. Womedy had the following contributors: Annette Berr (* 1962), Mai Horlemann (* 1968), Annette Kruhl, Natascha Petz (* 1970), Lynne Ann Williams (* 1965) and the pianist Hanno Siepmann. Womedy had cult status as an entertainment ensemble in Berlin. With their chanson-comedy- cabaret show, they made their own rhyme for "girl power", cheekily and freely.

Womedy was founded in Berlin with the program “About sperm donors and other R-casts”. A year later, the long title became the program name and they called themselves “Miracles of the Muses”. "About sperm donors and other effusions" was performed for many years and up to the fourth sequel. From 2002 the Berlin group was with the Hamburg artist agency ursart and performed nationwide under the name "Womedy".

Her home stage was the ufaFabrik in Berlin, where she has been rehearsing and performing again and again since it was founded.
