Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2011
The Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2011 was the qualifying tournament for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013 and the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012 and was held from November 14th to November 26th, 2011 in Bangladesh . In the final, the West Indies defeated Pakistan with 130 runs. The two finalists qualified for both the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013 and the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012. The third and fourth placed Sri Lanka and South Africa are also qualified for both tournaments. The qualification of the two teams for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012 is due to the fact that Sri Lanka is hosting the tournament and South Africa is moving up for the previously qualified West Indies.

The field of participants consists of ten teams:
format
The ten participating teams will be divided into two groups of five teams each and will contest a championship round. The two group winners qualify directly for the semifinals, while the respective runners-up and thirds contest a quarter-finals. Their winners qualify for the semifinals, the losers for the consolation round semifinals, which they contest against the group fourth. In the following, all places are played out. The two finalists qualify for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012 and the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013. Those involved in the game for 3rd place also qualify for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013.
