The Won rock is about washed up from the sea cliff rocks in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is west-northwest of Melsom Rocks and northwest of Coronation Island .
The crew of the Korean trawler In Sung Ho discovered him in 2003 after the ship ran aground on him. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2005. It is named after Won Jong-Bu, first mate and later captain of the ship.
