The Woordenlijst Nederlandse Taal (Dutch language dictionary), often called the Groene Boekje (German: Green Booklet) because of the green cover , is a directory ( orthographic dictionary ) of Dutch words in the official spelling . It is published by the Dutch Language Union ( Nederlandse Taalunie ).

The first Woordenlijst was written in 1954 on behalf of the Dutch and Belgian governments. Revisions took place in 1995, 2005 and most recently in 2015. There is a CD-ROM version and a free online version of the Woordenlijst.

The spelling of the words in the directory is mandatory for authorities and schools in the Dutch-speaking area ( Netherlands , Belgium and Suriname ) after Suriname joined the Dutch-speaking Union on December 12, 2003.

Around 500 Surinamese-Dutch words were included in the 2005 edition.
