The Worcester Glee Club was a British music group ( Glee Club ) in Worcester , which was founded around 1810 and dissolved in 1937.
Members were singers and musicians who met in the "Crown Hotel" on Broad Street to make music. They performed regularly in Worcester Cathedral . Its most famous member was the British composer Sir Edward Elgar (1857-1934), who also held the position of president of this club.
