In 2005 World4You moved into its first own data center in Linz.
In 2011 World4You became the world's largest domain registrar for .at domains. In 2012 the company counted 100,000 registered domains. In 2016 World4You announced the registration of the 200,000. Domain by the company.
In 2018, World4You was 100% acquired by the United Internet Group or its subsidiary 1 & 1 Internet SE. CEO Johannes Kührer announced via press release that he would remain as managing director and continue to operate World4You as a service provider and employer in Austria.
