The Wormser Weg is a high alpine hiking trail in the Verwall group of the Austrian Central Alps .

It connects the Wormser Hut and the Heilbronner Hut . Most of this section of Zentralalpenweg 02 runs in the federal state of Vorarlberg , a small part in the state of Tyrol . The Wormser Weg is classified as a medium-difficult mountain path and is marked continuously (red line or red line on a white background). It is without technical difficulties and overcomes a total of 1000 meters difference in altitude in the ascent and 1000 meters in the descent. The ascent of the scenic and varied, but 20 km long Wormser Weg is an extremely long hike with 8½ hours of pure walking time and is therefore only recommended for persevering mountain hikers.
