The Wotu-Wolio languages form a branch of the Malayo-Polynesian languages within the Austronesian languages . The group of closely related languages ​​is spoken on the islands of Buton , Selayar and Kalao, as well as in the vicinity of the village of Wotu in South Sulawesi .
