The Wróbel Valley is a small valley on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located on the south bank of the Ezcurra Fjord , a side bay of Admiralty Bay .

This valley was originally occupied by a glacier , which Polish scientists named in 1984 after Franciszek Wróbel, the head of naval operations in the Polish Antarctic expedition, which ran from 1976 to 1977. The glacier retreat, which increased in later years, left behind a valley occupied by dead ice , to which the name of the glacier was transferred in 2003.
