Wrangler is a US-American brand for clothing, especially jeans , owned by Kontoor Brands , which also includes the other brands Lee and Rock & Republic . The trademark has been registered in Germany since 1967.
history
Wrangler Jeans were branded by the Blue Bell Overall Company with the acquisition of Casey Jones Work-Clothes Company in the mid-1940s. Blue Bell employed Bernard Lichtenstein ("Rodeo Ben"), a tailor from Łódź , Poland, who worked closely with cowboys to design jeans suitable for rodeo use. This laid the foundation for Wrangler jeans .
