The company Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau Regensburg (FMR) was a vehicle manufacturer based in Regensburg .

From 1957, FMR was the successor to the Regensburg steel and mechanical engineering company , the manufacturer of the Messerschmitt KR 175 cabin scooter, and from 1955 its successor, the KR 200 .

The FMR (shareholders: Fritz Fend and Valentin Knott) continued to manufacture the KR 200 and developed the Tg 500 , called Tiger. Production of the Tg 500 ran out in 1961 (the information on production numbers fluctuated between around 320 and around 950 pieces), while the KR 200 was built until 1964. Then the demand was so low that production was no longer worthwhile. A motorized three-wheeler “Mokuli” was also manufactured, some of which could also be driven with an insurance license plate .
