PCS buggy

PCS was a German car brand. Various companies produced buggies under this brand name . The construction came from J. Wirth . The vehicles were available both as a kit and as a complete vehicle.

Companies

The J. Wirth company was located at Igginger Weg 14 in Leinzell and sold PCS models in the 1981 model year . In the 1982 model year, Poly Car Stanulla with the address Am Mühlberg 4 in Wehrheim was named as the manufacturer. In the model years from 1983 to 1986, Günter Siegel from the Siegel dealership at Othestrasse 30 in Bergneustadt produced the vehicles. In the 1987 model year, the Siegel dealership was located in the industrial area at the reservoir in Gummersbach - Derschlag . From 1991 to 1993, WM Automobilvertriebs GmbH from Hummelgasse 9 in Stuttgart was named as the manufacturer. This company was dissolved on August 13, 1996. It is not known when production ended.

vehicles

The PCS were open recreational vehicles. The chassis of the VW Beetle formed the basis . Initially, the K models with a shortened chassis and L with a full chassis were on offer . In the 1987 model year there was also the Sport model . In 1991 the shortened version was dropped. A body made of PVC was mounted on the chassis . Initially, only four - cylinder boxer engines from VW provided the drive . The sport was also with six-cylinder engines from Ford with 90 hp available power.
