The Stallion Cars GmbH was a German manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Gunnar Haberstroh, Peter Karg and Ernst-August Walter founded the company in Nuremberg at the end of 1985 by taking over Red Stallion from the USA , the owner of which Henry William Herndon had died. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Stallion . The sale was carried out by the Schmidt car dealership. In 1990 the company moved to Fürth . It is not known when production ended. It was deleted from the commercial register in 2001.

The company made a replica of the AC Cobra . A body made of GRP was mounted on a tubular space frame. A V8 engine from Chevrolet with a displacement of 5700 cc and 300 hp provided the drive . The maximum speed was given as 255 km / h. The new price was 197,350 DM in model year 1988 and later 225,000 DM including leather upholstery and air conditioning.
