Burgfalke was a German manufacturer of gliders that produced small numbers of small cars at short notice. The company from Burglengenfeld belonged to Martin Dahmen.
Company history
Together with Gerhard Siegel, Dahmen registered a Burgfalke Flugzeugbau oHG with the business field 'construction of gliders' in Burglengenfeld in October 1951 . In 1958 the oHG took over the production facilities of the Victoria 250 from the Victoria works and began producing automobiles under the brand name Burgfalke . After only a few copies manufactured, production ended in the same year, the supply of spare parts for the Spatz and Victoria 250 continued for some time.
Whether the small car production was based in Burglengenfeld or in Obermurnthal , a district of Neunburg vorm Wald , is a matter of dispute.
vehicles
The only model was the Burgfalke 250 Export . This was the successor to the Victoria 250. The open body offered space for two to three people. A single - cylinder two-stroke Victoria engine with a displacement of 248 cc and 14 hp provided the drive .
Two of these Burgfalke 250 were delivered to the USA; one was on display in Bruce Weiner's Microcar Museum. When the museum was closed, it was auctioned for $ 20,700 and remained in the US; the Burgfalke emblem of this car also shows the information "FB 250".
