The Hieber Automobile GmbH was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Norbert Hieber founded the company in Anzing in 1985 as a restoration company for British sports cars . In April 1992 the company started selling its own automobiles after prototypes had been presented since 1990. The brand name was Hieber . Production ended in 2003. A connection to the dealership Hieber Automobile GmbH from Markt Schwaben is not known.

The only model Piola was a sports car. The basis was the Lotus Esprit . A V8 engine from Ford with a capacity of 5000 cc and 200 to 400 hp provided the drive . The new price for the basic version in 1992 was DM 64,582 .
