The Protek Gesellschaft für Industrieentwicklungen mbH was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Hans Trippel ran the Trippelwerk until the end of the Second World War and manufactured floating cars. In 1949 he founded a new company in Stuttgart and began developing automobiles. The brand name was again Trippel . In 1950 the company moved to Tuttlingen and in 1951 back to Stuttgart. In 1958 the company was dissolved.

The most important model series that went into series production as a triple was the SK 10 series . It consisted of the models SK 10 (TE 106) , SK 10 (TE 107) and SK 10 Sport . These were small coupés and convertibles with a displacement of 500 cm³ to 600 cm³ . About 25 copies were made of this. From Trippel 750 1956 Two copies were made.

Vehicle development and licensing

Automobiles Marathon from Paris manufactured vehicles that Protek had developed between 1953 and 1955. The Weidner vehicle factory from Schwäbisch Hall and Ateliers de Constructions Mécaniques Ch. Wilford et Fils from Belgium acquired a license for the Trippel 750 .
