Company history
The company from Göttingen began producing automobiles in 1969. The brand name was AHS . Production ended around 1978.
vehicles
The only model was the AHS Imp . It was a buggy based on a VW buggy that had been developed by Engineered Motor Products in the USA . An open plastic body was mounted on the chassis of a VW Beetle . A four - cylinder boxer engine provided the drive . In the 1972 model year, the price for a kit was 3220 DM and for a complete vehicle 9100 DM. From 1977 Karmann from Osnabrück manufactured some of these vehicles and AHS sold them.
