Fuldamobil was a German car brand. The manufacturer was Elektromaschinenbau Fulda GmbH (owner: Karl Schmitt). The journalist Norbert Stevenson can be considered an inventor and designer.

The vehicles were - according to today's definition - small cars with initially three, later four wheels . During the production time came various gasoline engines used that from 6.5 to 10.2 PS contributed. Initially, the body was made of plywood with a cover of synthetic leather . From 1952 an angular body clad with aluminum was used; this resulted in the nickname "silver flea". A year later there was a strongly rounded paneling that was mockingly referred to as the "cello case" in the vernacular. From 1957 the manufacturer used plastic instead of aluminum . The Fuldamobil was one of the first cars with a negative scrub radius .
From 1951 to 1969 a total of around 2900 vehicles were built. Another source cites the annual registration numbers in Germany for the initial period. In 1951 there were 63 vehicles and in the three following years 104, 197 and 327. The figures for the Fuldamobil NWF 200 produced under license in Wilhelmshaven are not included.

License manufacturing
The Fuldamobil was also manufactured under license by other manufacturers, some of them abroad. The company Nordwestdeutscher Fahrzeugbau (NWF) built the Fuldamobil from 1954 to 1955 in a number of 701 vehicles in Lohne (Oldenburg) . The Bambino was made in the Netherlands between 1955 and 1957 . Fram-King of Sweden produced 411 copies between 1956 and 1962. In the UK it was produced by Nobel between 1959 and 1961. In Greece there was the Alta and the Attica . Furthermore, licensed buildings took place in Argentina as Bambi , in Chile as Nobel Chile , possibly in Rhodesia as Fuldamobil RSR and possibly in India as Hans Vahaar .
