The Fuldamobil N-2 is a car model from Elektromaschinenbau Fulda GmbH and was offered under the Fuldamobil brand . It appeared in 1952 as the successor to the Fuldamobil N-1 and was produced until 1955, most recently in parallel with the larger Fuldamobil S-2 model , which had already been part of the range for some time as a larger addition.

body

The closed two-door body of the vehicle offered space for 2 + 2 people, while the Roadster only had space for two people. As with all models of the Fuldamobil, the doors of the coupé were hinged on the B-pillar . Hammered aluminum sheet was nailed to the wooden framework . There was no painting. Hence this model received the nickname Silberfloh . Since many customers still valued painting, the painted aluminum body was available at an additional cost from the spring of 1953.

drive

The single - cylinder two-stroke engine from Fichtel & Sachs with a displacement of 359 cm³ was air-cooled by a fan and had an output of 9.5 HP (7 kW). It was mounted in front of the individual rear wheel and drove it via a chain. The maximum speed was 80 km / h.

New price and number of pieces

The new price was initially 2990 DM , from June 1954 2200 DM. Between September 1952 and August 1955 380 copies were made.

A vehicle from the stock of the Störy Automobile Museum is on display in the PS store in Einbeck .
