Company history
The company Shepherd Tuning - Auto-Service-Center Charles Shepherd was founded in 1982 in Neusäß - Hammel for the production of automobiles. The brand name was D&S . In 1991 it became D&S Automobile , where D stood for Diana Day and S for Charles Shepherd. The company was later renamed D & S Automobile Day & Shepherd and moved to Affing . It is not known when automobile production ended. The company still exists today as a car dealership.

The company made replicas . Initially, chassis from the VW Beetle were used. Later the Pontiac Fiero was the basis. V6 engines from Pontiac and V8 engines from Chevrolet were available . On offer were the models Pegasus as a replica of the Ferrari 308 , Mirage III as a replica of the Ferrari 328 , Marossa as a replica of the Ferrari Testarossa and Corson Spider and Corson Coupé as replicas of the Ferrari 512 BB .
