MCA was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company MCA Automobilwerke Ulrich Otten from Bremen-Schönebeck began producing automobiles in 1962. MCA stood for Motor Car Agency. In June 1964 there were proceedings against Ulrich Otten for fraud and debts, whereupon he fled to the USA . In that year production was stopped. A total of 50 to 60 vehicles were built, one of which still exists.

The model Jetstar was an open two-seater with a body made from fiberglass , whose four cylinder - piston engine of 1198 cc displacement 45 PS developed. The Coupé Jetkomet had an engine with 1493 cc and 65 hp. In both cases the engine came from VW and was mounted in the rear. The vehicles were inspired by a model from Devin Enterprises . They were also used in car races.
