description

The Euro-Star was originally a Lada 2105 that had been converted into an open recreational vehicle with a GRP body. It had no doors, instead a fabric paneling with foil panes and a roll bar on the sides and rear . It also had two removable Targa roofs , which were also made of GRP. The basic technology of the Lada was retained. The Golf I served as the basis for the first Bohse vehicles. These were still offered under the name Bohse Sprinter . Only 30 vehicles based on the Golf 1 were produced. 200 vehicles of the “Bohse Euro-Star” based on Lada were built. Both versions were the same in terms of the GRP body, only the headlights and taillights were different. In the Sprinter z. B. the taillights from the VW LT .

In the 1990s, a version of the Lada Samara (model series 2108) that was open above the rear seats was manufactured by Bohse. This was marketed as "Bohse Safari" by the manufacturer Bohse and later, after Lada had bought back the rights, distributed under the model name "Lada Samara Fun" through the regular German Lada dealer network. Around 2000 vehicles were built by the “Bohse Safari”.

Production at Bohse Automobilbau GmbH was discontinued due to an unexplained succession and the old age of the managing director. The remaining stock - around 50 vehicles - were sold for around DM 7,000 per vehicle.
