The Benarrow GmbH is a German company in the field of automotive .

Company history

It was founded in Wittlich in 2008 . The company emerged from the plant engineering company Benninghoven , which manufactures asphalt mixers in Mülheim (Mosel) and whose car enthusiastic management wanted to produce their own car. Production ran from 2008 to 2010. A total of six vehicles were built. Since then, the company has been active as a workshop and has specialized in the restoration of vintage cars .

The Benarrow PB5, developed in two years and manufactured since 2010, is the first and only model from Benarrow GmbH. The coupé is based on the Audi S5 , from which parts of the body were adopted. The design of the car was developed with the support of Coventry University , England . The 4.2-liter V8 supercharged engine from MTM with 525 hp (386 kW) is 126 kW more powerful than the V8 production model from Audi. Acceleration from 0-100 km / h is 4.5 s and the top speed is 280 km / h.

Due to the successful appeal of the vehicle at public presentations, small series production was announced in 2010. The list price of the vehicle was 267,750 euros. Benarrow anticipated production of just one vehicle per month.
