Moto Kraps - Indy Three Wheeler Factory was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Walter Kraps, who has been running a body shop called Walter Kraps body construction and vehicle repairs in Bremen since 1979 , founded a separate company for the production of automobiles in the same location in 1994. The brand name was Indy . Production ended in the same year.

The only model was a three-wheeler . It was similar to the Morgan Motor Company's tricycles . The vehicle had a self-supporting tubular space frame. The open body offered space for two people. Waterproof plywood was used for the vehicle floor, dashboard and parts of the interior . The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the individual rear wheel via a chain. The engine, chain and swing arm were from Kawasaki . The four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1062 cm³ and an output of 93 hp was air-cooled . The top speed was specified as 185 km / h. The new price was 66,000 DM .
