Company history

Klaus Janßen founded the company in 1980 and began producing automobiles. The company headquarters was Am Raffelnberg 4 in Lüdenscheid . The brand name was Janßen . Production ended in 1993.

vehicles

The company made replicas of historic vehicles. Most of the vehicles were also available as a kit.

• The Blower-Phaeton / 98 was based on the Bentley 4½ liter Supercharged from the 1920s . The new price in 1984 was from DM 46,000 . The basis was an extended chassis from the VW Beetle . A four-cylinder engine from Audi with 86 hp provided the drive .
• The Cobra 427 Turbo was a replica of the AC Cobra . The new price in 1988 was from DM 50,000. This model was equipped with its own box frame. There was a choice of six-cylinder engine from Ford and the V8 engine from Rover .
• The Gepard SS 100/75 was similar to the SS 100 . The new price was from DM 43,000 in 1984. Initially based on the platform frame of the VW Beetle, a box frame was later used. Opel engines with either 4 cylinders and 110 HP or 6 cylinders, 3000 cm³ displacement and 180 HP were mounted in the front of the vehicle.
• There were other replicas of the Bugatti Type 35 , Jaguar XK 120 and XK 140 , Mercedes-Benz SS and Porsche 356 .
