In 1986 the kit for converting a VW Beetle into a delivery van with the rear door hinged on the right was created. This could be a kind of license production of a Vandetta from Gundaker Fabrication . The kit was laminated behind the driver or passenger door after the roof section and large parts of the rear structure had been removed from the Beetle.

In 1987 the conversion kit for a VW Speedster was created. This is primarily a modification of the rear of the car so that a two-seater convertible was created in the tradition of the Hebmüller convertible. Aumann's Speedster is characterized by the air slots above the engine cover, which are positioned between the cover hinges.

The kit for the Spyder largely corresponds to the kit for the Speedster. Similar to the Porsche 550 , the contours of the integrated neck rests of the seats at the rear of the car have been modeled behind the driver and front passenger. For both the Spyder and the Speedster, Aumann offered widened fenders on the inside and its own GRP running boards.
