The Verona Automobile AG , previously Verona Automobile GmbH & Co. KG and ESW Automobile GmbH , was a German manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Jürgen Warmuth acquired the rights to a roadster body from Apollo Motor Cars in the USA in 1984 . He then spent three years developing a tubular space frame. On March 31, 1988 he founded Verona Automobile GmbH & Co. KG . The company headquarters was at Südring 18 in Aschaffenburg . The brand name was Verona . On January 14, 1993 the company was dissolved. The new company ESW Automobile GmbH was founded on January 14, 1992 . From model year 1995 the address was Bertastraße 3 in Aschaffenburg, and from model year 1996 Emil-Geis-Straße 5 in Grünwald . On October 17, 1998, the company was deleted from the commercial register. In the 1997 model year, the company was Verona Automobile AG . The last entry in the car catalogs is in the 1997 model year. The only known number is 30 units produced up to October 1995.
