Thomas Albiez contributed parts of his private fortune. Alfred Theodor Ritter supported the development financially. On April 12, 1991, Hotzenblitz Mobile GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the same location. Production began in 1993 in the former Simson factory in Suhl . The state of Thuringia supported the development with guarantees of eight million DM. The brand name was Hotzenblitz . Production ended in 1996. A total of around 150 vehicles were built.

After the bankruptcy, a German group of investors acquired the rights to the Hotzenblitz at the end of 1996 with the aim of continuing production.

In 1998, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia tried to restart production in Duisburg . A Euroimpuls BeteiligungsAG should collect money from private investors. Thomas Albiez should only be responsible for the technical development of the project.

After the failure of these efforts, Thomas Albiez emigrated to Austria and founded in Villach the Meeting Point Future GmbH and other companies that promote the goal of producing an advanced Hotzenblitz and are looking for private investors. He has been listed on XING as managing director since 01/1999. In 2011, at the “the electric avenue” trade fair in Friedrichshafen, Linning Kendrion presented an improved drive in a Hotzenblitz with an ABS body in the presence of Thomas Albiez.

In 2016, the TZ - MPF Arbeitsgemeinschaft GeoPart GmbH & Co KG registered at the Traunstein District Court, HRA 11299, is named as the operator in the imprint of the former company Meeting Point Future . The company's operations and production will be financed by crowdfunding from private investors.
