Thomas Hermsen founded the company in Kranenburg in 1984 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Hermsen . It is not known when production ended. The entry in the German Patent and Trademark Office was deleted in 1997.

The company manufactured kit cars . The model was a model from KVA Cars . The GT 40 Mark I model was a replica of the Ford GT 40 . A six-cylinder engine from the Ford Scorpio with 2900 cm³ displacement and 140 hp power provided the drive . The new price was 18,400 DM for a kit and around 120,000 DM for a complete vehicle.
