Company history

The company was founded in 1918. Initially, Heilbronn is given as the company's headquarters. Before the Second World War , it manufactured trailers for passenger cars. Another source confirms dump trailers and also names power harrows , front and rear loaders and manure spreaders.

Parts for the Kettenkrad were made during the war . In 1951 the headquarters were moved to Schwäbisch Hall . In addition to trailers, farm wagons and recovery vehicles were also produced.

The company manufactured automobiles between 1957 and the end of 1958. The brand name was Weidner .

After that, recovery and towing vehicles , washing systems and other things were built. An advertisement from 1976 for high-pressure cleaners has survived. Advertisements are still known from 1978 and 1981. Then the track of the company is lost.

The only model was a small car with a body as a coupé . The license came from Hans Trippel . The production of 400 vehicles per month was planned. In fact, far fewer were created. The high new price of 7,000 DM is given as one reason for the low market success.

Several sources consistently give 200 vehicles.
