Höckmayr KFZ-Technik is an automobile manufacturer based in Germany . The company was founded by Simon Höckmayr and only produces roadsters that were originally derived from the Lotus Seven and still look like this today.

Current production

Höckmayr builds complete vehicles by hand in Gerolsbach . The HKT GTS vehicle type was redesigned by the founder Simon Höckmayr in 1998 and, apart from external similarities, now has nothing in common with the original Lotus Super 7 model . In 2006 the HKT RS was brought onto the market with a new rear axle construction and a wider chassis. Höckmayr uses high-tech materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic and other modern composite materials for its cars. The engines are supplied by Audi (1.8 liter displacement). The standard output of the engines ranges from 180 to 213 kW (220–290 hp).

Thanks to the low weight of the vehicles, accelerations of 3.6 s from 0 to 100 km / h (HKT RS Clubsport) are possible.

The car has neither an anti-lock braking system (ABS) nor an electronic stability program (ESP), traction control (ASR) or other electronic driver assistance systems.

Current models

  • HKT GTS
  • HKT RS
  • HKT RS Clubsport
