Wrong Way Up is a studio album released in 1990 by musicians Brian Eno and John Cale . The album combines pop and electronic music and is considered one of the most commercial works by the Eno / Cale team. In 2005 the record was released by All Saints Records with a new cover; the new edition included two bonus tracks by Eno, "Grandfather's House" and "You Don't Miss Your Water".

reception

The single "Been There, Done That" is the only Eno single to date that has made it into the US charts. Trouser Press called the album "an absolutely wonderful pop record, a subversion of Top 40 formulas to the pair's own idiosyncratic (but utterly accessible) ends."; According to Rolling Stone, Eno / Cale wanted to create a "spooky, catchy aural environment".
