Wulfeshorn
Wulfeshorn or Wulveshorn refers to a horn with which a guard in the Middle Ages had to warn the inhabitants of a village or town of approaching wolves with his horn signal . Entire streets were after the popular name or by the place names named, such as
- Wulfeshorn , historic street of the village and today the Hanoverian district of Hanover-Badenstedt
- "Maior Wulfeshorn" in Hanover, also known as "In dem groten Wulveshorne" and "In dem groten Wulveshorne", see Große Packhofstraße (Hanover)
